Cooper Young Festival 2008 Sponsorship Descriptions

Since the CYBA began sponsoring the Festival in the Fall of 1988, this event has grown to major proportions. The money that is raised through the Festival, is distributed back into our Historic District through the Cooper Young Development Corporation and the Cooper Young Community Association. Both of these organizations take an active part in the revitalization of our community, through their continued efforts to refurbish abandoned and low income housing, maintaining a safe residential and commercial environment and their promotion of public improvements.

The Friday evening prior to Festival, the Cooper Young Community Association hosts the Festival Friday 4-Miler. This event is attended by approximately 1000 runners, their friends, family and community members. Sponsorship opportunities are available for all of these events.
